We held a ZINE-making workshop in collaboration with "NESTo," a coworking lobby housed in a renovated stone warehouse in Ogawa Town, Saitama.

The finished ZINEs were made available for viewing in the NESTo library (this has since ended). I was in charge of planning, the mini-lecture on the day, and facilitation. Ogawa Town is famous for its washi paper, so we made washi available as a paper choice for the ZINEs and commissioned bento boxes from a local vendor who uses ingredients from the town. We made sure to incorporate as much of the local charm as possible into the experience.

The best thing about ZINEs is that they can be enjoyed by both adults and children alike.
