Nurturing Numbers

An essay collection by independent mathematician Masao Morita. Through his interactions with his own young children, whose pure curiosity is still unclouded by language, Morita rediscovers "numbers" himself.

This book covers a five-year period, from when his children were 0 and 3 years old to when they were 5 and 8. It's a book about the small lessons found in everyday life. Each chapter is about 4 pages long, making it perfect for reading in short bursts during a busy schedule.
